Winter storage for your motorcycle can be a tricky task, especially when it comes to the fuel injection system.

Here are some steps you can take to prepare your motorcycle fuel injection system for winter storage:

Fill up your gas tank: Fill up your gas tank with fresh fuel to prevent condensation from forming inside the tank. Add a fuel stabilizer to the tank to keep the gas fresh during storage.

Run the engine: Run the engine for a few minutes to ensure the fuel stabilizer circulates throughout the fuel injection system.

Change the oil: Change the oil before storing your motorcycle for the winter. Old oil can contain contaminants that can damage the engine during storage.

Check the coolant: Check the coolant level and ensure it is at the recommended level. If the coolant needs to be changed, do it before storing your motorcycle.

Clean the air filter: Remove the air filter and clean it thoroughly. This will ensure that the engine can breathe properly when you start it up again in the spring.

Disconnect the battery: Disconnect the battery and remove it from the motorcycle. Store it in a warm, dry place and keep it charged throughout the winter.

Store the motorcycle: Store the motorcycle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Cover it with a breathable motorcycle cover to protect it from dust and moisture.

By following these steps, you can help ensure that your motorcycle fuel injection system is properly prepared for winter storage. When you are ready to ride again in the spring, your motorcycle should start up easily and run smoothly.
